Store Handwork Classes
** Be sure to stop by the store and visit the classroom- all the class samples for these great classes will be hanging.**
Spend the day with Harriet and Nancy learning to hand piece. After taking lessons from Barbara Chainey while in England last summer, Harriet has been hooked! Starting with a basic shapes and principles you will also learn to piece a six-pointed star and finally graduating to the Rose Star block, you will find that some blocks are easier by hand than machine - and enjoyable, too!

Class Time: 10am - 4pm
In this half-day class students will quilt a large feather wreath on off white fabric. The time will be devoted to learning how to get consistently spaced stitches and eventually smaller stitches. We will also review batting types, fabric and fabric markers, needles, thimbles, hoops and anything else that may affect the outcome of a person's quilting stitches.

An adorable scene created with wool and hand appliquéd. Decorative embroidery stitches and beading embellish this whimsical project adding an abundance of charm.
Learn basic wool appliqué techniques as well as embroidery stitches.

This three hour class will teach needle turn applique, a simple technique used for some of the most intricate applique. Annlee will guide you through the preparation and stitching of simple orange peel blocks.

Happiness is Hexies
In this fun hands-on class, you will learn how to prepare your hexagon shapes using pre-cut papers and how to join your hexies into various designs. We will also discuss setting options and just enjoy some social time that all handwork promotes.

Green Thumb Quilt
Do you have a love of hand embroidery? Green Thumb is a wonderful Block of the Month project quilt, that features some wonderfully detailed garden themed embroidery in each of the five blocks.
A whimsical five-month experience includes hand appliqué, embroidery and piece work.
Learn a number of techniques that will allow you to enjoy the pleasures of hand worked projects.
Create a wall quilt or table topper using all 5 blocks or choose to use them separately in other creative projects.
