Mastering Machine Appliqué Boot Camp with Harriet Hargrave

Have you ever dreamed of making an exquisite appliqué quilt in just a few days instead of months and months? Is appliqué the “a” word in your quilting vocabulary? Have you played around with various machine appliqué techniques and are just not satisfied? If these questions hit a nerve, this is the retreat for you!

Join Harriet Hargrave for along weekend of exploring and perfecting all the different techniques of machine appliqué.  Think of it as appliqué taught like a college course.

Your invisible machine appliquéd sample will look as good if not better than hand appliqué. Your satin stitch will wow your friends in its crisp appearance and smoothness, your blanket stitching will achieve new heights with great points and corners as well as smooth curves. You will explore several different ways of doing these techniques, as well as explore all the various threads, needles, fusibles and stabilizers.

Harriet has been an integral part of getting machine appliqué accepted into the quilt world as well as machine quilting. She has done extensive appliqué on her machine for over 30 years.

The first edition of Mastering Machine Appliqué was on the market for 11 years and the newly revised 2nd edition of this best seller was released in 2002.
