Quilter’s Academy
A Skill-building Course in Quiltmaking
This is the ultimate how- to series for beginners! In this series Harriet and Carrie teach piecing and start beginners on the best footing possible for a life-long adventure in the art of quiltmaking. These classes are not just about projects – they are about techniques and personal working styles that will give you a foundation of skills that will allow you to go anywhere you desire with your quilting!
This year we are changing things up a little to hopefully give more people the chance to learn the skills taught in this great series of books without having to go through the Session classes normally offered.
All the classes listed in this section are based on quilts in one of the Quilter's Academy books, but these are just short one to three week courses that will teach you the techniques and skills from the books without the huge time commitment usually required with the Session classes. At the end of each of these "project" classes you will have most, if not all, of a quilt top completed.
Based on Harriet & Carrie’s book series Quilter’s Academy.
