Harriet has made available sample squares of all the battings below so that students can perform the batting test on page 58 of the 3rd edition of Heirloom Machine Quilting or page 117 of From Fiber to Fabric. She believes that every quilter needs to be able to choose the batting that enhances the quilt to its best ability, not just what is recommended or available easily. You can purchase these squares as a set or individually.
